What are the funds?

We offer five diversified investment funds. Each fund has a different asset class mix. This means each fund has a different level of risk and expected return.

What are the main benefits?

Your investment:

  • has flexible investment and withdrawal options
  • has a maximum fee.

Each fund has a maximum fee

The annual fund charge is the total fee for your investment. The annual fund charge is a percentage of the net asset value of each fund, and is deducted from it. 

You will not pay more than the annual fund charge.

The annual fund charge ranges from 0.91% to 1.13% of the net asset value of a fund, depending on the fund you choose.

Investing involves risks

Investing in the funds will involve taking some risk.

Your investment might not do as well as expected and you may not receive back the full amount you invested.

We recommend that you talk to your financial adviser about the investment options available to you.

 

 

 

Making regular investments

You can make regular fortnightly, monthly or quarterly investments by setting up a direct debit or regular investment. 

Direct debit

To set up a direct debit, either:

  • complete the direct debit form at the back of this PDS and post or email it to us, or
  • call us on 0800 736 034 or +64 9 356 4000.

You can increase, reduce or suspend your regular direct debit payments at any time by posting or emailing us a new direct debit form, or by calling us.

ANZ Internet Banking

Set up a regalur transfer of funds from any of your ANZ transactional accounts directly to your OneAnswer Multi-Asset-Class Funds account.

Internet banking or phone banking

If you don't bank with ANZ, log into your bank's internet banking and select ‘OneAnswer MAC Funds’ from the Bill Payee list, or make your payment to:

Making lump sum investments

If you don’t want to make regular investments, you can make a lump sum investment online or via phone banking as described above for regular investments.

You can make additional lump sum investments at any time, whether or not you have a regular payment set up,

You can also invest by cheque.

Cheque

Make your cheque out to ‘OA Multi-Asset-Class Application Account’ and post it to us along with the completed transaction form at the back of the product disclosure statement.

Important

  • Remember to include your surname, date of birth and investor number as the references when you make a payment. If you don’t have your investor number, please include your IRD number

  • If you don't provide us with the correct details, we can’t credit your investment account with the amount you pay.

  • It usually takes up to three business days for a regular or lump sum payment to reach your investment account

  • It usually takes up to five business days for a regular or lump sum payment to show in ANZ Internet Bank and goMoney.
     
  • For all payments, if you’re invested in more than one fund, we will use the same percentage amount per fund that you chose for your last payment. If you don’t want us to allocate your payment in this way, please complete and send us the transaction form at the back of the product disclosure statement. We must receive this form before we receive your payment. Otherwise your payment will be allocated to your fund(s) in the same percentage as your last payment.
     
  • There is no minimum investment amount into the funds for both regular and lump sum payments.
     
  • We don’t charge any contribution or establishment fees for making an investment.
  • By making additional investments, you agree to be bound by the funds’ terms and conditions current at the time of making the investment, as set out in the application form, guide, product disclosure statement, offer register and governing document applicable at that time.

​Withdrawing your investments

You can request a withdrawal on any business day.

Unless you're making a full withdrawal, the minimum amount you can withdraw is:

  • $500 if you’re making a lump sum withdrawal, or
  • $100 per fund if you’re making a regular withdrawal.

You can set up a regular monthly, quarterly, six-monthly, or annual withdrawal.

If you would like to make a withdrawal, please contact your financial adviser or complete and return a Withdrawal Form to us:

  • post the documents to  ANZ Investments
  • email to registry@anzinvestments.co.nz

We usually process your requests and make payment to your bank account within five business days of receiving your request.

Once your balance reaches $0, your account will close.

Please note if you believe you have not given us proof of your identity and address, as part of your withdrawal request, you must provide certified copies of these documents. For further details, please refer to the Withdrawal Form.

 

It’s easy to view your investment online

You can view your investment in ANZ Internet Banking and ANZ goMoney. This will give you up-to-date information, including your investment balance, transactions and investment performance.

How to register for ANZ Internet Banking

If you’re an ANZ banking customer, you can register online at anz.co.nz. Click on ‘Register’ and complete the online form.

If you’re not an ANZ banking customer, you can be set up in your nearest ANZ branch. You will need to provide proof of identity, please go to anz.co.nz/id for the full list of acceptable identity documents.

How to register for the ANZ goMoney app

Once your registered for ANZ internet banking, you can download the app from either the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Android). Find out more about ANZ goMoney.

We offer a range of funds that invest in a different mix of growth assets and income assets. Depending on the mix of assets, each fund has a different risk/return profile.

Conservative Fund

Invests mainly in income assets (cash and cash equivalents and fixed interest), with a smaller exposure to growth assets (equities and listed property). 

Conservative Balanced Fund

Invests mainly in income assets (cash and cash equivalents and fixed interest), with some exposure to growth assets (equities and listed property). 

Balanced Fund

Invests in similar amounts of income assets (cash and cash equivalents and fixed interest) and growth assets (equities and listed property). 

 

Balanced Growth Fund

Invests mainly in growth assets (equities and listed property), with some exposure to income assets (cash and cash equivalents and fixed interest). 

 

Growth Fund

Invests mainly in growth assets (equities and listed property), with a smaller exposure to income assets (cash and cash equivalents and fixed interest). 

All of the funds may invest in alternative assets.
