Morningstar Analyst Ratings

The Morningstar Analyst Rating for funds is the summary expression of Morningstar’s forward-looking analysis. Morningstar analysts assign the ratings globally on a five-tier scale with three positive ratings of Gold, Silver, and Bronze, as well as Neutral, Negative, and Under Review designations. The Analyst Rating is based on the analyst’s conviction in the fund’s ability to outperform its peer group and/or relevant benchmark on a risk-adjusted basis over the long term.

 

  • The Morningstar Analyst RatingTM for OneAnswer SAC International Share Fund assigned on 1 August 2017 is ‘Gold’.

  • The Morningstar Analyst RatingTM for OneAnswer Multi-Asset-Class Funds assigned on 30 September 2016 is ‘Silver’.
  • The Morningstar Analyst RatingTM for ANZ KiwiSaver Scheme assigned on 29 September 2016 is ‘Silver’.
  • The Morningstar Analyst RatingTM for ANZ Default KiwiSaver Scheme assigned on 29 September 2016 is ‘Silver’.
  • The Morningstar Analyst RatingTM for OneAnswer KiwiSaver Scheme (multi-asset-class funds only) assigned on 29 September 2016 is ‘Silver’.

  • The Morningstar Analyst RatingTM for OneAnswer SAC Property Securities Fund assigned on 27 September 2017 is ‘Bronze'.

SuperRatings 2018 KiwiSaver Ratings

  

ANZ Investments is proud to have received the SuperRatings Platinum rating for the fourth year in a row for all three of its KiwiSaver schemes:

  • ANZ KiwiSaver Scheme
  • ANZ Default KiwiSaver Scheme
  • OneAnswer KiwiSaver Scheme.

The Platinum rating is the highest possible rating awarded to schemes that represent the ‘best value for money’, taking into account not only investment performance and fees, but other features that help members reach their investment goals, such as access to quality advice, member education, and governance.

SuperRatings is an independent research company and has been researching the New Zealand KiwiSaver market for more than four years. For their 2018 ratings, they reviewed 29 KiwiSaver schemes, with its highly-coveted Platinum rating given to only eight schemes, three of which are managed by ANZ Investments.

ANZ Investments is one of only a handful of providers whose KiwiSaver schemes have consistently been awarded its top honours since it began its review of the KiwiSaver industry.
